Gold prices fell for the second consecutive day on Tuesday. Stock markets have been hitting profit margins, with many countries around the world announcing easing from lockdowns. On the MCX, 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 286 to Rs 45,905. Silver also fell by Rs 400 to Rs 41,558 per kg. The price of gold has also plummeted as the dollar has increased in value with different currencies.
Bullion traders attributed the fall in gold prices to investors' acceptance of profits as they hit record highs. Hot Metals are expected to slow in popularity as investors move to buy shares with stimulus packages that many countries are seeking to recover from. Bullion traders predict that gold prices will continue to rise steadily for a few more days.
